Shazia over 21 years’ experience working in the NHS as a clinical pharmacist in a variety of pharmacy sectors not traditionally associated with pharmacy as a career in many peoples mind. She graduated from Kings College London and started work as a hospital pharmacist at Kings College Hospital before moving to Leicester and working at the University of Hospitals of Leicester as a specialist pharmacist in Critical Care and Anaesthetics whilst completing an MSc in clinical pharmacy.
After a short career break she returned to a primary care role as a Care of the elderly pharmacist in Northamptonshire in addition she has been the project lead on a number of care home projects delivering high quality medicines services to care homes within Leicestershire.
